TwinMOS company is very popular in Bangladesh for it’s pen drive and
RAM. At this moment they are also manufacturing speaker, tablet, smart
phone and other computer peripherals. A few months ago they released
Sky-V501 smart phone. Let’s see, it’s features.
Design:
TwinMOS Sky-V501 is a very nice looking smart phone. At this moment only black color is available. 3.5 mm jack, volume and power button all are located at the correct place and comfortable to control. During our test we used this phone for several hours comfortably. Weigh is a little bit high. Sometime you will feel bulky phone because it is 193 grams. Overall, it is a nice phone.
Screen:
IPS 5 inch multitouch capacitive touch screen is very sharp and can produce accurate color tone. Viewing angles were also generous. You can view this display even from 178 degree angel. Its resolution is 1280*720 pixels, so this is near HD or HD ready display.
Power and performance:
1.2 GHz quad core processor with 1GB RAM are plenty of power for most of the android games and applications. This smart phone is powered by an Android jelly bean OS. Internal memory is 8GB and you can expand it up to 32GB by a micro SD card. An accelerometer and magnetic sensor are equipped with this phone.
Camera:
Primary camera is 8 MP and secondary camera is 3 MP. Its secondary camera resolution is higher than other smart phone in this class. Primary camera has autofocus and led flash and can take full HD 1080p video with 30 frames per second.
Connectivity:
HSPA+ (Latest 3G version) is available in this phone. Bluetooth, USB 2.0 and wireless LAN all are equipped with this smart phone. USB on the go (OTG) option is not equipped with this phone.
